Stonehenge - 1610
William Camden's Britannia includes one of the earliest printed images of Stonehenge, which appeared in the 1610 edition. The engraving shows the stone circle with Elizabethan visitors and an area where human bones are dug up. One of the earliest representations of an Archaeology dig!
