Ordnance Survey Historical Map 1:2,500 Site Centred A3 circa 1840's - 1940's
The extensive Ordnance Survey Historical Mapping Archive has been digitised. This enables us to produce an Historical map centred on any location in England & Wales.
The maps are at a scale of 1:2,500 and will use a composite of the appropriate map sheets to generate an A3 size map centred on the details you give us.
Map Coverage approx. 600 x 600 meters
Please let us have the Postcode and first line of the address or the full Ordnance Survey National Grid Reference for us to use a centre point.
The dates of the maps will vary considerably depending on when Ordnance Survey Published them. There were usually at least 2 editions but could be up to about six! If you have a preferred date please let us know, otherwise we will email a list of dates for you to choose from.
We will send you a preview of the map so that you can check it covers the area you require.
If you have any questions or would like to see a preview before you buy please free to contact us,

Please Note: Because these maps (known as County Series maps) where surveyed on a local county meridian, the grid line will be off-set to the modern National Grid and will be off set at county boundaries. If you are on the county boundary, the digital 'stitching' of the map data will show this descrepency.
